The Opportunity

The prestigious Young’s offer a range of iconic pubs and ‘pubs with rooms’ that serve craft beer, great cocktails and seasonal food across London and South East England. Founded in 1831, they have been running some of the best British pubs for nearly 200 years.

 

Christmas is a crucial time for the hospitality industry, with vendors seeing a huge surge in bookings over the festive period. Over last year’s festive season, Propeller collaborated with Young’s to launch an impactful Christmas bookings campaign spanning across a range of channels. Customers were encouraged to make online festive booking enquiries at their favourite spot through both the central and local pub websites.

The Solution

To boost Young’s Christmas bookings, we crafted impactful landing pages showcasing their stunning venues and festive offerings. Targeted advertising campaigns across Google and LinkedIn drove engagement from both new and returning customers.

On Google, we implemented location-based pay-per-click search ads to reach potential customers seeking nearby festive venues. Simultaneously, our LinkedIn strategy included InMail campaigns promoting Young’s cozy pubs for Christmas parties, lead generation ads offering a ‘Christmas Concierge Service,’ and engaging content-based sponsored ads.

To ensure campaign effectiveness, we provided a real-time Looker Studio dashboard tracking performance across all channels. This included weekly data updates, bi-weekly insights, and a comprehensive final report, enabling data-driven optimization and transparent communication throughout the campaign.
