Established in 1884, Mylands is Britain’s oldest family-owned and run paint and polishes manufacturer. Over four generations, they have quietly but proudly crafted quality paints and wood finishes in South London.

As Mylands looked to make a transition to D2C, it was clear the digital experience for consumers needed to reflect the knowledge, experience and premium nature of the brand. For Mylands, an engaging and emotional website on Shopify Plus that could tell a colour story was essential- and that’s where Propeller came in.

Versatile formats

We created a versatile landing page format using Shopify Plus and Yotpo, truly utilising the breadth of tools available on the platforms. With thousands of products, we expanded pages to include as much information as possible without being too cluttered or noisy.

Work completed on navigation and filtering meant customers could narrow down their search and effortlessly find what they needed. It was as close to replicating an in-store experience as we could get.
