Established in 2013, Cordet is an AIFM and alternative credit investor that provides bespoke and scalable financing solutions to smaller mid-market companies in Northern Europe, meeting the need of many institutional investors for attractive risk-adjusted returns.
Cordet tasked Propeller with a brand identity refresh and website redesign. The brand needed to reflect their proposition, values and vision as well as take into account existing market trends. They required a revision of their logo, typography, colour palette and visual content and the website had to be easy-to-navigate with a friendly CMS that would be simple to update internally. Propeller, of course, were up for the task.
Our approach
Cordet operate in a very corporate and strict industry with a lack of modern websites. We therefore had to strike the right balance between standing out from the crowd with a fresh new look and remaining industry-relevant and appealing to the market.
We performed a brand and business analysis on Cordet’s existing brand to understand their offering, challenges, vision and goals.
We conducted research into Cordet’s peers and the market including industry structure, segmentation, trends, and predictions.
We developed a new positioning for Cordet to differentiate them from peers and ensure the brand had longevity according to the industry predictions.
We transferred all of our findings into a new brand identity that was used to produce new designs and develop a new website.
