An engaging responsive website with bookings and party planning at the core

Zizzi is a rapidly expanding chain of 120 distinctly unique Italian restaurants

We were initially approached several years ago to reposition the Zizzi brand online, designing and building a bespoke mobile website, followed by a redesign and build of the core website.

We have continued to partner with the Zizzi team to deliver powerful digital marketing campaigns, complex integrations and insightful strategy.

Website Objectives

Our partnership with Zizzi covers the following objectives

  • Deliver and maintain an industry leading Party Planning tool (enabling users to nominate a party organiser, select menu items and pre-plan party customisation)
  • Continue to innovate in the hospitality sector by delivering a conversion driven responsive website
  • Ongoing booking optimisation focus working with the Live Bookings API working with A/B testing to ensure continued performance

We proposed to implement a unique and bespoke bookings journey using a 3rd party Live Bookings API, negating the need for the standard console used by their competitors.

What We Delivered

We worked closely with Zizzi from the brief and concept stage all the way through to the launch of the new responsive website in order to maintain the essence of the Zizzi brand throughout the process.

Using the Live Bookings API we have also been able to create an optimised booking journey ensuring the fewest number of steps from venue search to booking completion. We also launched A/B testing to analyse the performance of the bespoke API vs the standard console. The results that proved the bespoke API solution was the most successful journey.

We created an intuitive ‘Remember me’ functionality whereby the website remembers the visitors last booked restaurant when they next return to the website.

- Bookings have increased by over 80%
