Winning awards every year since 2008 from the likes of Conde Nast, the British Fashion Council and Browns, Sophia Webster’s rise in the fashion industry first as Assistant Designer to Nicholas Kirkwood and then on her own, has been phenomenal.

She partnered with us to ensure her online presence fully represented the core ethos of her brand and personality. Our approach was to mix her design talent and modern feel with playful accents and transitions to make the customer feel a part of the Sophia Webster world.

The demand for her shoes was so high we were confident that traffic, sales and conversions would be equally impressive and that Propshop was the perfect platform to support this.

What We Delivered

Thinking outside the traditional blog offering we developed an integration with Instagram and Sophia’s hashtag, allowing users to communicate with the brand. This not only encourages aspiration and interaction but it does the hard work so the team doesn’t have to!

A simple CMS interface that requires a quick Accept or Reject pushes the image to the front end.

As predicted the website has been a huge success and demand for Sophia’s designs continues to grow. Thanks to global coverage, collaborations with industry legends and a solid business strategy, the brand is going from strength to strength.

The spike in traffic from the US and the increase in orders made it very clear that Sophia had established herself across the pond. With customer service at the forefront we launched the US website, having integrated with a Florida based warehouse offering free shipping and returns.

Sales on the US website have skyrocketed and plans to roll out other country sites are not far off.
